Students are spoilt for choice when considering coming to one of Twin’s summer centres. With 6 schools in England to choose from, whether you’d rather stay by the seaside or in the city, we have a centre that’s right for you.

Our summer centre in Crowthorne is set within the historic buildings of Wellington College & Eagle House, and has beautiful surroundings. If you’re someone that likes peace and quiet, Crowthorne is just the place for you, set in England’s lovely countryside and home to plenty of friendly people. You’ve also got the benefit of a swimming pool, tennis courts and a dance studio on site. You’ve probably heard of Windsor castle, which is an amazing building with a rich history, and it’s very close to the centre. London is also just under an hour away from the summer school so you will not have to travel far if you decide you would like a change of scenery for a day.

Maybe you’re someone who loves the beach? Well, we have a summer centre based in Eastbourne perfect for you! Imagine sitting on the beach with a nice ice cream and a book, relaxing before going for a swim; sounds great right? As well as that, the pier is close to the centre, which is a great place for you and your friends to go and even try out some traditional English fish and chips and visit the arcade. The town is close by if you fancy doing some shopping; there are also many parks and some breath-taking attractions. There is plenty to do leaving you with no time to get bored, the environment is great and the locals are lovely to be around.

We also have a centre in Guildford. St. Catherine's School is based in the Surrey countryside, ideal for getting away from city life. Being in Guildford provides you with a variety of amazing opportunities. You could visit Guildford Castle, which offers breath-taking views of the area, and the summer centre is also close to Thorpe Park, and Chessington World of Adventures, where you can see a wonderful variety exotic animals. This centre also has an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, common rooms, and provides you with the chance to go on an excursion to London and enjoy a cruise on the River Thames, and to Oxford, to visit its prestigious university.

Our Ipswich summer centre and accommodation is also situated in the countryside. Ipswich is a little town where you can embrace a relaxing environment, and has a great variety of restaurants, shops and cafes. There are some fascinating museums waiting to be discovered, and the centre is also close to the coast, where you can find picturesque sandy beaches. The centre provides you with an indoor swimming pool, football pitches, and common rooms for relaxing and socialising with other students.

Bromley College

If you would like to be based in London, our centres in Bromley and Carshalton could be what you’re after. There’s a great shopping centre based in Bromley, and lots of restaurants and cafes. There are loads of activities to do in both of these areas, but you don’t need to travel far to get to Central London either, as it is located just half an hour away from both of these places. In the centre of the capital you could visit Oxford Street, Trafalgar Square, the London Eye, Sea Life London and so much more. The centres offer lots of indoor and outdoor activities themselves too; there’s just so much to do and you probably won’t even get around to doing it all.

We hope the information this article has provided you with will help you choose which summer centre is best suited to you, whether it be one in the countryside, one next to the beach or one in the vibrant city of London. We know it’s a difficult decision as all these summer centres are great ones – we take huge pride in providing you with the best experiences possible. We look forward to seeing you at one of our summer schools!
