Ideally located in the picturesque and world-famous Royal Borough of Greenwich in South East London, our Ravensbourne summer school is the perfect place for senior students to spend their summer.

Our Summer school in Greenwich is located at the modern Ravensbourne University, which is next to one of Europe’s unique entertainment arenas, the O2, and is less than 20 minutes away from Central London. Ravensbourne University’s extremely modern and striking building coupled with our quality and engaging tuition programme, will help the students to make the most out of their stay.

Students staying at this summer school will spend alternate days exploring the best sights of London on our Discover London activity programme. They will get to see iconic sights such as the Tower of London, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden, and will get to visit famous attractions including the British Museum, The National Gallery and Greenwich Maritime Museum.

Twin’s English summer school is located at Ravensbourne University, right in the heart of the Greenwich Peninsula and next to the O2. This centre offers excellent transport links as it is on the same site as North Greenwich underground station which is also served by a number of London buses.

This location is ideal, as students will be able to easily access all the fun and excitement, open green spaces, shops and restaurants that are available locally, but they will also be able to reach Central London in under 20 minutes, the famous Canary Wharf in five minutes and the transport hub of Waterloo in 15 minutes.

The school is based in a brand new building, which won the prestigious RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) award for most innovative higher education building in London in 2011. Our English summer school offers a fantastic learning environment, modern facilities and bright, spacious classrooms.

Students will have access to all of the University’s great facilities, such as a games area and common rooms, which are perfect for relaxing and socialising with friends, a modern study zone and a large cafeteria.


Whilst visiting Twin’s English summer school students will stay with carefully selected and trusted homestay hosts. This will give them the perfect chance to experience British culture and daily life in a typical British household, as well as the opportunity to practise their English every day. Twin carefully select hosts based on the safe living environment that they offer and their experience in welcoming international students, knowing how to help them settle in and feel comfortable. By staying with one of our homestays, students’ English skills will improve and they will leave with a varied experience of what life is like in the UK.

Students will have the opportunity to make new friends with people from all over the world by attending events on our activity programme, made up of exciting activities and excursions to top locations and attractions. Typical activities at our Greenwich summer centre includes discos, walking tours to see famous sights in Central London, and movie nights.

There is the chance to visit some fantastic famous attractions in London, including the Tower of London, the National Gallery, Tate Modern, the British Museum and the Science Museum. Those completing a typical two week programme with us will be able to spend one full day in Cambridge and Brighton. Cambridge is a beautiful city in the countryside renowned for the top education its University provides, and Brighton is a vibrant and modern seaside city.
