Colchester is an historic town, the oldest recorded town in Britain. As well as having a wealth of heritage and history, Colchester today is a thriving, modern town with more than 50 visitor attractions, including the Colchester zoo, and what is claimed to be the oldest market in British history.
Within easy reach of London, Colchester is close to sandy beaches, surrounded by pretty villages and set in peaceful surroundings, with plenty to see.
The university is set in the outskirts of historic Colchester, within a compact campus set within over 200 acres of landscaped countryside, making it a safe and fun environment for students.
On campus students can enjoy the use of a library, games room and an indoor sports hall surrounded by lakes and swans. The campus is within easy reach of London and East Anglia with excellent links to Stansted Airport and Harwich International Port.
English language tuition
- Standard Course: 15 hours (20 lessons of 45 minutes) per week English language tuition
- Intensive Course: 23 hours = the Standard Course plus 4 lessons of 2 hours per week, which happen in place of the daytime activities (the evening activities & excursions are the same).
