  • Liaison with Group Leaders, Centre Staff, Local Organisers, HQ Staff
  • Staff & Student Management
  • Overall responsibility for Accommodation (Residential and/or Home Stay)
  • Financial Control - day to day
  • Acting Health & Safety Officer

Director of Studies

Responsibilities:
  • Educational management and administration of centre
  • Teacher management and support
  • Educational standards
  • Student learning problems and progress
  • Assist, support and provide cover for Centre Manager as required
  • Teaching when lower numbers

  • Management of Daytime & Evening Activities programme

  • Management of Activity Organisers
  • Assist, support and provide cover for Centre Manager as required

Centre Support and Welfare Manager

Responsibilities:
  • To provide all-round support to the management team
  • Assisting with the smooth operation of the Centre
  • Supervising students at meal and bed times
  • Providing some welfare and supervisory support
  • You may be expected to teach according to the requirements of the centre, up to a maximum of 15 contact teaching hours per week.

Teacher

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and teach classes as timetabled by the Director of Studies
  • Participate in activities & excursions (if appropriate)
  • Organise Project Work (if appropriate)
  • Generally contribute to the enjoyment of the students’ stay

  • Prepare, put into operation, supervise and clear up after activities on the programme
